My dealer just called and has a 4.0 build available. I agreed to a GT2 purchase yesterday so am not going to take the 4.0.

If you want it and are prepared to pay the deposit today please PM me *before* 2:00pm EST and I will forward you dealer details.

Cheers.

Are you getting a GT2 or GT2 RS? Just curious.

Anyone who can should jump on it at MSRP.

Mike, who cares where he is? Just tell him you are good to go.
I have a feeling that Supersolo is about to go Defcon 6.

My buddy got the spot. Thanks Jim, he's doing the spec tomorrow. So far only options are white exterior, all black interior, no white wheels need to pick silver or black and light weight head lights

You're welcome Mike. Pleased to have helped. Congrats to him.

This was my planned spec:
white on red, silver wheels, black belts, black alcantara storage lid, alcantara visors, aluminum footrest, DLC's (boxed for resale - lightweights for track).

Damn! Mooty did not even buy one yet!
Your spec is perfect, just like how I would have ordered it, except would have kept regular head lights.

Sorry for the off topic.
Lightweight, Do you live around Philadelphia?
We are planning to move to Bucks or Chester County within a year. I as wondering what the "Porsche Community" is like in the area?
Sounds like a good dealer, nice to know a good local Porsche dealer.

Rich, I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Bucks County and Chester County are two of our favorite parts of the state. Beautiful countryside with some great weekend driving. As it happens you appear to have chosen two areas which each have a decent Porsche dealer within or nearby. I'd be happy to pass on their details when you're ready.

There is a well established Porsche community in PA as well as in NJ and DE. The PCA chapters are reasonably active with regards DE, Autox and social events. A couple of months back region 2 held Tech Tactics in Easton PA at the regional Porsche distribution and training center. The head of the 918 project flew in from Germany to give a presentation on the project. Apparently well over 150 Porsche owners attended including guests from NY and CT (I'm not sure on an accurate number).

The closest tracks are to be found at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP). Thunderbolt and Lightning are modern, on the same property, and very different tracks. There are a number of others than are relatively accessible.

About the only "complaint" I have is that it snows in winter. My cars are RWD so they get put away for 3 months of the year. Feel free to get in touch when you're up this way and I'll be happy to answer questions or put you in touch with someone better informed.

Thanks for the info.
We are working with a realtor and have been up many times. We like it more each time. We will be looking again in about a month. Hope to find something soon.
