Since I purchased my 2010 997.2 GT3 I have been using Pagid RS-29 pads. Frankly I have been very happy with these pads and never had an issue with them and they last me about an entire season (7-9 events for me). During the last year or so there have been numerous positive reports on PFC pads and rotors, and I thought I give it a try especially since the new 08 compound is out, and when time comes I'll try the rotors as well.

There also have been few issues reported with the 08 compound, but currently they seem to be isolated issues related to other variables besides the pads themselves. However, it is good to keep reporting issues to see if sustained patterns emerge.

This is a log of usage and experiences, I hope others also contribute along the way. The spreadsheet below is data I gathered starting in 2013, if members cannot access it, please let me know.

During the last event of the season last weekend, gathered more data; however, still not enough to be conclusive; the spreadsheet is updated. The main reason the data is not yet conclusive is because of the OEM brake fluid that only lasted about 5 to 6 laps and would result in spongy pedal afterwards, and the rotors having very large cracks with several exceeding 7 mm in length even though none would connect or run to the edge, it just did not give me confidence to be hard on brakes.

Overall however, the pads are holding very well, and I was only off by 0.5 secs of my best times at Summit Point. We'll see how things shape up with new fluid and rotors next season.

Btw, I am not yet getting significant dust on wheels that I can see (black wheels), and I have very significantly less noise during street driving that I had with the RS-29s.
