The coolest '10 RS
1 Attachment(s)
Well I will have the coolest front brakes anyway :-DDD
Work still in progress but here are the first pictures: 2" hole with ducting to the scoops to get more direct air instead of from under the car or through the radiators. Not as big as CUP cars but it adds. |
Re: The coolest '10 RS
Here the before and after pics with the TTS scoops (Part # 997.341.484.01).
Same as on a Turbo S with Cermics. Izzone found them. You can also see the 2" hole aiming directly in the scoops if you look closely. More coming..... |
Re: The coolest '10 RS
How many components are involved?
Facia with 2" hole Ducting (can't see any in the photo) Thanks! |

You can see the duct sticking out tiny but on the bottom of that white stripe..
basically they drill a hole and then put the duct throught the front and it comes out through the liner. The TTS duct is just a little bigger, but needs some cutting. |
Re: The coolest '10 RS
I really like that TTS duct. Thus far I haven't had fade issues with this car, which is pretty amazing, but I haven't run in really hot weather yet either. Thank you for the info Peter and Randy.

At faith....come run sebring in the summer....turned my centerlocks purple from the heat
I can fade the brakes to the floor.....was running Motul.....having Orbit put in SRF Peter....show off |
Re: The coolest '10 RS
Haha!
I have now 3 extra cooling elements for the front brakes: TTS scoops 2" front ducts that feed air to the scoops. Naca bottom ducts that feed air to the rotors I should have some temp stickers to see how hot the rotors get, but i gigure it could help a bit. We will see how hard the tracks are onthe brakes and how high the ambient temps will get. |
Re: The coolest '10 RS
What are you trying to run enduros now. Haha

Re: The coolest '10 RS
Very nice upgrade, thanks for posting Peter!

Re: The coolest '10 RS
Couldn't think of a better way to test the new cooling out than by doing 5 tracks in 10 days
