Re: PCA-Suncoast is joking right ???

Bummer!

I've had nothing but positive experiences running with PCA. Ironically I "assumed" PCA would be political or snobby before I ran with them but found that wasn't the case at all. If...

Re: Nov 18-20; VIR Full; Carolinas PCA

Nice, congrats! I look forward to running with you. We'll both be trying to catch Dell. I am still not 100% sure I can make the event but I'm hopeful.

Looks like it's going to be a great...

Re: Tired of you guys having all the fun!!

Great to hear you're coming out!

I drove this SCCA event last year. It's well run and you should have a great time. Last year it was crowded, so try not to get frustrated if there's traffic.

Re: Brake cooling

Great info Peter, thanks!

I've been following your threads on rotors, pads and cooling anticipating the need to upgade my components. But I've had an "unusual" experience with my car.

I...

Re: I Am Agonizing T3 at VIR...

I didn't know about this event, thanks for the heads up! I am going to try to work that into my schedule.

I noticed the cell phone coverage has improved at VIR. You can work and play!

Re: I Am Agonizing T3 at VIR...

Just got back from 3 days at VIR with Potomac and was thinking about this thread. T3 and T10 are really great corners at VIR. T3, which L Herman points out, is pretty flat and straight forward but is...

Re: August 14-15; PCA DE @ Charlotte Motor Speedway

I am worried about you :-((.....it's been so long since you've been on track you forgot VIR has garages. :)

They're just not as nice as those. Wow impressive facilities!

Re: Potomac PorscheFest

Takes one to know one! :pals:

I'd make you proud in the bar too! I know I lost credibility with you when I turned down that beer at VIR but.....I had a 5 hour drive home!

Re: Potomac PorscheFest

Larry,

I might choose a gear lower if there's traffic or late passing but these are typical.

T1 - 3rd
T3 - 4th
T5 - 3rd
T10 - 4th

Hey, when are you going to ask me ride with you?...

Re: Hmmm... What Do You Think of This 991?

Why does the front splitter look so rounded? Is it less aggressive aero? Better fuel economy?

It seemed to me that all the recent 2nd GEN Porsches had more aero while this one "seems" to have...

Re: Potomac PorscheFest

Thanks FTS! I wasn't trying to set any track records.

I was losing ground to a few cars, including the Vette in this clip, from T6-T9 on Friday. If the audio was sync'd properly you could...

Re: August 14-15; PCA DE @ Charlotte Motor Speedway

Not sure.....

I have a set of 1 1/2yr old AP's that have a lot of surface cracking but nothing that's reached the outer edge. And none that are opening up....I saw a crack in a solid rotor at...

Potomac PorscheFest

This past weekend was Potomac region's annual PorscheFest. We host a 3 day DE, Fri-Sun, and Autocross on Saturday. There's a catered BBQ dinner Saturday night, that's terrific, and included for all...

Re: August 14-15; PCA DE @ Charlotte Motor Speedway

Watching the video I found the tall, thin, black scoreboard distracting. It looks like you track out to the base of it when you turn in for the infield and then you see it again when you're heading...

Re: August 14-15; PCA DE @ Charlotte Motor Speedway

Wow...interesting track! There's a lot going on....was it difficult to focus on a line? Does the car feel stable braking on the banked surface?

I haven't run any banked tracks and look forward...
