To give you an idea how hard Road America is on brakes and tires, my tire pressure gain is over 14psi from cold in a 25 minute session. I am very sure it will only go up the longer I'm out there.

Sorry, my sentence was a bit confusing. I assumed South Course. A good basis for comparison is a well driven Cup car time.

At Road America a lot of time can be gained in the Carousel. FYI, on...

FYI Cup cars go 1.30.xx on the South course which is what I assume you drove.

Don't bother with the Ostoff bar, go to Siebkins. Lots of racing history there, just look at the stickers all over...

You're right about that. Pretty much split the heat and humidity you get in South Florida between the desert heat of SoCal and the 70-90% humidity of IL/WI...

My recommendation- go where you want...

SoCal is hot as hell in the summer.

Midwest is humid as hell in the summer.

The tracks on the west coast have more elevation change.

I wouldn't bother with Putnam Park. It's basically a low...
