Default Re: New York Intrn'l Auto Show - PCNA VIP Breakfast - YOU ARE INVITED!!!

Pete, thank you so much for the pictures. I was late to the breakfast and presentation and did not get to spend time with you and others because of that as we had long discussions with PCNA. I cannot believe I missed meeting you in person, I apologize.

The show was really good, my son certainly had a lot of fun:

The GT3 R Hybrid was a given of course in this show and it look superb. Unfortunately, no word at all on the GT3 RS LE (as it is known to people out side of PAG), so rumors continue...

Because we spent most of our time on the road in the morning, even though we left the house at 4 am in Maryland, the drive was not the most pleasant one, the return was even worse. But we had a lot of fun in NY, spending time with my son was priceless.

PCNA discussions were more than encouraging for us. They value of PCA to Porsche is much more so than I thought it would be and cooperation between PCNA, PMNA, PAG and PCA is incredible. Tim Cupp, who is the PCNA Product Manager for Sports Cars, really understands the Boxster, Cayman, 911 and GT customers. All have their unique profiles and are demanding in different ways. Porsche thinks the GT customers are the ultimate VIPs, which is nothing new, but they also understand that the GT customers know their car in every technical details and like to talk about those details, and Porsche is certainly listening. We also met Michelle, who is PCNA Marketing and Sponsorhip Manager, that she also had tremendous ideas and activities coming up, especially around motorsports. Very exciting stuff of course.

Here are few more pics as I found the time later on:

A very attractive Hyundai concept:

But it had center locks I was going to mention something to the rep there, but I thought "ummm, naah, let'em"

Saab is certainly trying to change the perspective:
