Question Cup Brake Pads on GT3?

Does anyone know if the 996/7 cup brake pads are compatible with the 997.2 GT3/RS? They seem to be much cheaper than Pagid Yellows, if they fit, I might give them a try.

No doubt. I just bought my first set of Yellows for my CS. I hope they last a long time. I used a set of Pagid Blues and I was very dissapointed. They lasted me 90 days, and were GONE....!!!

This is why I was dissapointed with the Pagid Blues. This is what they looked like on July 17th.

And this is what they looked like on October 18th, after 4,825 miles, 6 track days and only 3 months:

Ouch!

Supposedly the yellow 29s last a lot longer, but they are ridiculously priced. I intend to try either Carbotech or Endless pads, see how they do.

Btw, I think I mentioned this previously: I had the stock pads on the car last weekend, which I believe is Yellow 19s. They performed very well, I had a lot of confidence in the brakes going from 150 down to 45 mph repeatedly. I haven't taken them out for inspection, but I'll take some pictures when I do.

I'd be really surprised to find that they are putting Yellows on there stock. I don't think Yellows are legally approved for street use, and if I try to use mine on the street, holy crap....! The squeal is brutal.

Pull a pad out, and snap a picture of the back of it. I'd love to know exactly what they are putting on those cars.
