Re: Tps
Anyone have the TPMS come apart in the wheel.
I just was checking my car out after the California festival of speed and I heard a grinding noise in the left rear wheel. I have read several threads that could be indicative of a loose wheel and potential damage. I checked the CL torque and it was accurate. So I pulled wheel and rolled it. The TPMS was loose in wheel. I am taking to tire store tomorrow for a look. I will post pics if anyone is interested. Thanks |

Re: Tps
I've heard that one or two times before, infrequent occurance I think, but apparently possible. I assume these are the stock units. I'd love to see some pics, may be we can tell how the heck it happens.
Thanks,

Re: Tps
I've broken 3 or 4 so far but they all just went dead but attached or were broken when mounting/dismounting track tires.

No definitive torque due to the O ring setup. Over tightening could destroy the O ring seal! |
