For csmarx- road racing karting primer

You guys would be surprised how many big names came through road racing karting. A lot of Indycar guys came through there in the past, as did some NASCAR guys and IMSA/GA racers. Currently we have a new crop of young drivers going through the rank/file of pro racing- Beth Chryst, Dean Copeland, and Kevin Kopp are kids I've raced against in karts in the past and are now banging wheels in the Playboy MX5 Cup this year. I think Bret Spaude is racing GAC or GA, also a past winner in my class. Relative to them, I'm just an old guy who enjoys occasionally getting to the front to mix it up with the youngsters every now and then- I have no intention of ever racing anything else because the cost to go into a car is quite a bit more. Been there, done that.
