Default Centerlock Recall ???

There was alot of talk about this on the other forums. So here is the link I found on the centerlock recall. I have called my dealership to determine if my 11 rs is part of that or not.

Anyone else know anything??

As I read further I found the actual recall notice which is here below.

Thanks for posting. My car was built in Nov 2010, so according to the notice only cars up till 9/17/2010 are recalled. So I guess I have the new parts.

Thanks for the post, I have been waiting for that NTSA document. I will check with the local dealer tomorrow to see if when they would be receiving the new parts, will update this post.

Yes, it is now confirmed by dealer, parts are being ordered and the nuts will be replaced. However, they are, apparently, also test the torque levels as they are removing the existing nuts and do some other tests to determine if they need to replace the hubs as well.

Not what I am told, no wheels, bolts and hubs if necessary, the tech will determine the extend based on wear.

My dealer just got back to me and told me they have to do an inspection of the wheel and centerlock. Once they do that they have to advise porsche and then they decide what gets replaced. At a minimum they are replacing the centerlock. I do not get to keep the old ones.

I was scheduled yesterday for the replacement at the dealership, but as I was dropping the car the service manager came is said "did you not get my message?" I said "no." Apparently, there was only one set at this time in the US for replacement parts and some other dealership got in front of us and snatched the part. So, it could not be done, the part is not expected until 7/5 at this time
